Ju mer saker man än köper desto fler saker verkar det det saknas...
När vi tog isär konsollen upptäckte vi att det inte fanns något som sammankopplade växelspaken med lampan som indikerar vilken växel man har i, sen att en kabel till lampan inte heller var inkopplad förklarade ju sitt. Vi fick tips om ett Mustang-ställe som kanske skulle kunna ha denna lilla del, sagt och gjort åkte vi dit och möttes av en hel del Mustanger! Dom var i varierande skicka, verkade som att dom köpte dom rätt skruttiga och sen fixade dom och sålde dom. Skulle väl gissa på att det stod 20 bilar hopträngda på den lilla ytan. Ägaren hade tydligen massa Cougardelar liggandes men på ett annat ställe, så vi ska ringa tillbaka på tisdag och hoppas att dom hittat den. Till dess är det bara och vänta vilket aldrig är kul!
The more things we buy and intend to install, the more missing parts we notice...
When we removed the center console we discovered that the rod connecting the shifter lever and the gear selector light was missing. The light housing itself were there, but with a missing wire. We started to search this part, and got a tip about a Mustang place which might have this little part. We immediately drove there and found ourselves a lot with plenty of Mustangs! The condition of the cars varied, but it appeared that they restored and sold them. Our guess is that there were at least 20 cars cramped together in this small lot. Apparently the owner had some old cougar parts at another place, and they are going to look there for the part we needed. We'll give them a call this tuesday to see if they've found it. We just have to wait until then, but whats the fun in that?!
